Hawking effect with a thermal input: Quantification of entanglement and the role of superradiance

In this talk we will explain how to quantify the amount of entanglement in systems that display a Hawking-like emission process when the input state is mixed, as is the case for a thermal input due to an environment. We will take into account the role of ergoregions, and explain in detail the impact of superradiance in the entanglement generated in the process. The formalism will apply for realistic black holes, as well as for rotating black hole analogues or isolated ergoregions.
